Peter
Allan played his only Test against England at Brisbane
in 1965 / 6, he didn't bat but took 2 wickets costing
83 runs. He was a tall, well built, right - arm Fast
Bowler. His best first class bowling return was for
Queensland against Victoria when he took 10 for 61 in
an innings (in the 1965 / 6 season). It is the only
time that 10 wickets has been taken in an innings at
Melbourne, and when he retired in 1969 he was the record
wicket taker for Queensland. He toured the West Indies
in 1964 / 5 but didn't play a Test match ( his only
test coming one season later).
