John Robart Hodges (born August 11, 1855 in London, England; died January 17, 1933 in Victoria) played in the first two Test matches in 1877.

Hodges was a round-arm left-handed medium-pace bowler, and played most of his cricket at the club level in Melbourne, mostly for Richmond suburban club. In addition to his two Test matches, he played twice for Victoria in first-class matches.

Despite his cricketing ability Hodges spent most of his life living in poverty.
