captain until 1974-75 when MH Denness scored 188.
Coningham took Mclaren's wicket with his first ball in his only Test to claim the first
instances of a wicket falling to the first ball of a Test match.
In England's second innings all eleven batsmen reached double figures for the first
time in a Test match innings.
