New England Home Kit for 2009/11
Here we go folks; the time has come to reveal the new look England football kit for the 2009/11 seasons. The England team has just walked out on the Wembley hallowed turf to a rapturous applause as they prepare to take on Slovakia in todays friendly. Davif Beckham will have to wait until later in the game to reach the record breaking 109 caps for England and in so doing will beat Bobby Moore’s record as an outfield player.
“Beckham is in good form. He is playing at first-team level,” said Capello.
“I’ve had a look at him in training, and it is a very good moment for him.”
John Terry in his 20th match as England captain walked out and the whole side wore white plain jackets over the shirts to hide the finished article. The ballboys and ballgirls were dressed in the same (but smaller) white jackets and white shorts. Following the Slovakian anthem, there was a slight pause while England stripped off and revealed the retro shirt for all to see much to the delight of parents everywhere!
The kit will go on sale on April 1st but you can pre order to avoid disappointment. Sales and demand are incredibly high so don’t miss out. (Umbro have done a great job of keeping this one under wraps!!). So what are you waiting for, Order the shirt now!!
