Thanks for taking the time to look around the site, I hope you have found something interesting, information you were looking for or just had a good browse.

At the time of writing this page I only have a few people to thank, however they are important, as I would never have been able to even start a project of such magnitude without the information.

I had the idea for the site after looking through the web and not being able to find one place that offered the complete history of the Ashes - and so the site was born !

Thankyou to Authors Peter Arnold and Peter Wynne Thomas for writing their book :-

A Complete Illustrated History of the Ashes. The book is superb and, if you can get hold of a copy then I cannot recommend the book highly enough.

Some information on players past and present has been taken from the book by Christopher Martin-Jenkins 'World Cricketers' written in 1996.

I would also like to thank Cricinfo for being there and having such a great resource in cricketing history, this is the best site on the net for anything cricket, well worth a visit.

As the site grows I will add my appreciation to others who will have helped me, but for now thanks.

Simon Curry for his support and introduction to the Bodyline Series, David and John Liverman for some of the player profiles and to Cricinfo for having archived some of the test details !! Some of the information on Harold Larwood comes from his book 'The Larwood story', written by Larwood and Kevin Perkins.
