Ever since we launched the Bodyline site in 1999 we have been in-undated for information on the Bodyline Mini Series firstly on video and in the last couple of yearson dvd -how tiems change. To every email we receive we have had to reply with the same answer ..."There are currently no plans to release the Mini Series starring Hugo Weaving as Douglas Jardine and Gary Sweet as Sir Don Bradman. However, great news !!! The mini-series has now been released (June 16th 2005) at a price of $AU44.95. You can Order the Bodyline Mini Series starring Gary Sweet as Don Bradman now for only $AU38.50 - The DVD Mini Series will be in PAL format and Region 4 only. The release is meant for the Australia/New Zealand market. If you have any further questions then please drop us a line.

The Day England declared war on Australia! In the summer of 1933 three men of Empire, the brilliant young Australian batsman Donald Bradman, the English captain Douglas Jardine and the English speed bowler Harold Larwood met on a cricket pitch in Adelaide and almost tore the British Empire apart. They were the central figures in one of the most controversial sporting events of the 20th Century: the infamous "Bodyline" test series of 1932 - 33.
